Looking forward to the Orleans series. They have bankroll builders", which are like mega satellites. Hundred to enter, win a thousand when 10% are left. I miss WSOP satties far more than I thought I would. It’s really sad that all schedules are published later and later year after year. I know it mainly comes from the late WSOP schedule and all other venues set theirs accordingly after they know what the WSOP does, but I really don’t see any upside by the WSOP to have it this late. What is the big deal to just have it ready by New Years? It’s not that there are huge changes every year which have to be considered… Anyway, I really look forward to the small buy in series at Resorts World (hopefully a little more interesting tournaments than last year) and the Golden Nugget series. I also liked the tournaments at the Orleans, they even had some Mixed Events as well. It’s really sad that all schedules are published later and later year after year. I don’t think any other competitor casino had even 5% attendees in their series during the June/July of 2024 . So whatever the reason for WSOP’s sick mind to delay the tournament schedule to hide from Other casino is baseless. Just start/end date for Orleans Summer Open, May 23rd - July 13th. No details yet. https://x.com/OrleansPokerRo1/status. 05520645554547. orelans said they would dpost when everyone els eis reay to post theirs or so i thought i read. they said in a few weeks. so hopefully soon. Again, really weird to wait instead of just publishing it… No schedule from Aria, MGM, Venetian, Wynn, Resorts World, Golden Nugget and as said Orleans yet. Was just looking at venetians 2024 schedule to get an idea. I want to go play a few lower buy in tournaments at wsop but my buddy is perma banned (self exclusion by wife so if anyone has any ideas how to get him reinstated id really appreciate it) so he'll probably be playing at wynn/venetian. But I see their tournaments are almost all 1100 or 1600 which is steep for their structure imo. It's not unplayable or anything but was hoping for something better from an 1100 than 30k/30 min. I dunno, I'm a structure snob. If anybody knows anything else (saw Orleans but they're turbos) please let me know. And I'm going to write a letter on his behalf to Caesars but if anybody has ever gotten or seen anybody get out of a self exclusion let me know, yes he's an idiot. As a general rule, Wynn and Venetian multi-day events are going to have at least 40 minute levels. I just checked last summer's schedules. Unless I missed something, there was only one multi-day event at those venues with 30 minute levels (an $1100 at Wynn from 5/28-5/31). Memorial Day weekend was very good last year with a $600 at Wynn and an $1100 at Venetian that each had 40 minute levels. Venetian also had an $1100 multi-day in the middle of June (6/11-6/13). If those prices are too steep, there's always the satellite route. Wynn often runs milestone satellites in the PM for their bigger stuff. The problem in summer time is that these venues ratchet up their prices to meet the increase in demand, so while you may see $250-400 stuff in the "offseason", they rarely run any multi-day events below $1100 in the summer. Still, there's likely to be some stuff in the $1100-1600 price range. Beyond that, maybe look into other venues. Golden Nugget ran a $600 multi-day last year (6/20-6/23), which I believe was 40 minute levels. I intended to play it, but went in a different direction.
