Has anybody ever done speed dating before? If so, what were your experiences with it? Myself, and one of my guy friends.

Speed Dating? Has anybody ever done speed dating before? If so, what were your experiences with it? Myself, and one of my guy friends. And a female coworker of mine (I'd call her a friend) and her friend are going to do a speed dating event, followed by a cocktail lounge where we can laugh about the pains of the event. I'm really looking forward to it. I know not to have high hopes of meeting an actual date prospect. But I just want to try something different and make a good story out of it. Also, realizing that I'll be sitting down on a 5-minute date with my work colleague will be hilarious too. Edit - Great feedback so far! Also apologize, I realize my outlook on things here in this post is a bit negative, that's a fair call out. I don't want to belittle people solely on the basis of attending Speed Dating (I will soon be one of those people!).
